Update: Covid-19 situation
EM Normandie Business School is continuing to adapt to the situation with all its teams, teachers and students, to ensure that the start of the 2020 academic year is under the best possible conditions.
General mobilisation
Since March, the technical staff at EM Normandie Business School have been working hard to ensure that students and staff can continue to work under the same quality conditions: 100% of Classes have been delivered remotely using high-performance visual and audio recording systems, students are closely monitored by the Programme managers, numerous webinars have been organised, end-of-term exams have been maintained and adapted to the situation, etc. All measures have been taken to protect employees and teleworking has been introduced.
All measures have been taken to protect employees and teleworking has been introduced.
Uniting our EM Normandie Business School community is essential and internal and external communication has been stepped up to offer students, future students, staff and friends a unique and totally digital experience.
The ALUMNI Association and the Foundation are working together to support the Student Hardship Fund, in order to maintain equal opportunities for students with serious financial problems:
- 20,000 solidarity donation from the ALUMNI Association
- Call for donations from the Foundation
The COVID-19 Emergency Fund to preserve equal opportunities
Disparities exist between students and the Foundation has been doing everything it can since its creation to enable students in precarious financial situations to continue their studies thanks to scholarships. These disparities are getting worse, and we are having to deal with a growing number of difficult situations (deteriorating parental resources, withdrawal of internships or extra jobs, even family losses, etc.).
By making a donation to the Foundation, you will be helping these students and supporting the EM Normandie Business School community. Make a donation.
Progressive resumption
The Business Recovery Plan (PRA) includes different scenarios for the resumption of classroom teaching at the start of the 2020 academic year. Our campuses have been equipped to prevent any risk of contamination:
- Provision of protective equipment: hydro-alcoholic gel, masks, cleaning materials,
- One-way traffic clearly displayed,
- A minimum distance of 1 metre is marked out,
- Posting of barrier instructions,
- Removal of communal water fountains, microwaves, coffee machines, refrigerators, vending machines (drinks and food) and hand dryers
- Adaptation of workstations,
- Installation of outdoor break areas and reorganisation of catering areas,
- TRAINING PROGRAMME for General Services teams on how to welcome employees and visitors (distribution of sanitary protection kits, assignment of visiting hours, etc.).
- COVID referents - 19 appointed: Daniel Choplet, General Secretary, Solène Heurtebis, Le Havre Campus Director, in charge of updating the PRA, Alexandre Osmont, Buildings and General Services Manager, for work organisation and strict compliance with health and safety instructions.
Subject to the health situation and future government measures, our new campuses will open their doors to students and staff as planned, without delay, at the start of the new academic year in September, with all the measures necessary to ensure everyone's safety.
